The foundation of our practice is a small, slower paced, warm, family environment. Patients are known by their names. Dr. Michael Ligotti is a Board-Certified Family Physician.  Dr. Ligotti spends as much time as necessary with each patient- treating each one with respect and caring and ensuring that their treatment plan is completely understood. Patient phone calls and concerns are addressed quickly by the doctor. After-hours and weekend/holiday urgent care is handled as well by Dr. Ligotti- there is often no reason to spend hours in an emergency room waiting to be seen when someone is a patient of Whole-Health. House calls are even available when necessary. Dr. Ligotti works with the majority of medical insurance plans and Medicare, excluding HMOs. Flexible financial arrangements are available to patients unable to afford their entire deductible or who are without insurance and are paying cash.

Additionally, Whole-Health is an “integrated medical practice”, which essentially means that we utilize both traditional treatment modalities as well as “complementary” treatments when indicated. Our complementary therapies include osteopathic manipulative medicine, acupuncture, chiropractic, aromatherapy, herbal and vitamin remedies, and physical therapy/massage therapy. We feel our patients gravitate towards this holistic approach as it offers someone much more than pharmaceuticals to potentially address their medical issues. Often a combination of natural and synthetic treatments are employed- all tailored to the individual patient‘s desires and comfort level.

To summarize, Whole-Health and Dr. Ligotti’s approach to medicine is in many ways a throw-back to old-fashioned medical care entwined with modern-day technology and alternative therapies.
